Business IT is committed to providing advanced support for the products listed in this section including installation, configuration, usage, and troubleshooting. Full Support products have the following characteristics:

  • Products are critical to the WPC mission
  • Products are widely used across the main WPC campuses
  • Sufficient support resources exist
  • Valid licenses exist
  • Products are declared W. P. Carey School Standard

Applications

All current applications and up to one revision back of ASU or W. P. Carey School of Business purchased software is supported. All non-ASU or non-W. P. Carey purchased software is subject to support only where deemed necessary.

Limited Support

Business IT will provide minimum support for ASU owned computers and equipment  not listed above. This support will be scheduled on a time permitting basis and will not take precedence over core institute support initiatives. Limited Support products have the following characteristics:

  • The use of these products must serve the interests of WPC
  • BIT may be involved in the installation, but will not provide support for usage of these products
  • Support must be cost-effective
  • Valid licenses exist
  • Hardware support is subject to parts availability and approval of cost recovery from the department requesting the service
  • BIT cannot guarantee that these products or systems will work in the WPC environment
