Wired and Wireless

ASU provides and manages all available wired and wireless connections on campus and at offsite locations. BIT works in conjunction with UTO to identify and diagnose network problems. If an areas does not have adequate network connectivity, BIT, W. P. Carey Facilities and UTO will work cooperatively to determine necessary changes.

Individuals are permitted to bring their personal laptops to ASU and to connect to the network. Individuals can utilize either network connection; wireless for convenience and wired for increased speed. Detailed instructions for connecting to the ASU wireless are available online.

To utilize a wired ASU network connection, your computer must be registered with ASU. This registration process can be completed online without difficulty. Instructions for registering a computer and accessing the ASU wired network are available online.

Cisco Clean Access

ASU uses the Cisco Clean Access Agent to preview users machine before connecting to the network. Clean Access is primarily used in high concentration diverse user areas. Further information about Clean Access is available online.
