Instant messaging (IM) is frequently used for real-time communication among workgroups, but is not officially supported at ASU. IM accounts can be obtained from Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Adium and others. Products like Trillian can be used to monitor multiple IM accounts from different vendors simultaneously.
