ASU Wired Connection (DHCP) ASU wired Ethernet connections default to DHCP for assigning your IP address. If your computer is not able to access the internet after connecting to a network jack, your computer must be registered for DHCP. The steps below show how to register your machine. - Connect your computer to an active ASU Ethernet jack using your network cable
- Browse to ASU's Network Vulnerability Scan Page. Now, click the Start Network Vulnerability Scan of My Computer button
 - In this new window, the Scanning process is displayed:
 - Assuming your computer is currently secure, the following new page appears (otherwise, follow the instructions page to rectify your vulnerability findings). Next, click the Proceed to DHCP Registration Page button:
 - Enter your ASURITE ID and PASSWORD, then click the Register MAC Address button:
 - Finally, perform the steps displayed below for DHCP to assign an IP address to your computer:
