This document will instruct you on how to setup audio configuration in Adobe Connect. .
To begin the audio setup for the Breeze Meeting Program you will see a link in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Click on the link and this drop down menu will appear:
From the drop down menu select “Audio Setup Wizard…” This will lead you through the entire setup for the audio section. After clicking “Audio Setup Wizard…” the following window will pop-up. Click the Next button to continue the setup.
The following window is to test to make sure your speakers are connected. Click the Play button and listen for audio. If you hear the voice greeting click the Next button. If you do not check to make sure your speakers are connected and that they are not muted.
Once the speakers are set up it will prompt you with this window. Choose the device you wish to use as your microphone and then click the Next button.
This third audio setup window will test to make sure your microphone works. Click the Record button and your mic is working by watching the recording bar move.
Step four will check the background noise the microphone picks up. Click the Test Silence button but do not speak until the test is finished. Once complete click the Next button.
Step five has advanced settings that need to be adjusted. Click the Advanced Settings… button and a new window will appear.
In this window as default the “Auto sense Acoustic Echo Cancellation mode” and “Automatic Gain Control” boxes are checked. You need to UNCHECK the box for “Automatic Gain Control”. This will ensure that the volume level will not automatically change during your presentation. Click the OK button to finish advanced settings.
Click the Finish button to complete the Audio configuration wizard.
