SCM Doctoral students win ISM Doctoral Dissertation Grants
Institute for Supply Management- (ISM), with the support of the ISM Board of Directors, has awarded Doctoral Dissertation Grants to two doctoral candidates. At its April 2010 meeting, the ISM Board approved the ISM Educational Resources Committee's recommendations for ISM Doctoral Dissertation Grants in amounts of US$6,000 each to two doctoral candidates at Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business.
Supply Chain Management February - March 2010 Update
Professor Tom Choi has been elected to the Decision Sciences Institute's Board of Directors. He will serve a two-year term of office as a Vice President beginning on April 1, 2010.
Vicky Lau, Management Intern in Supply Chain Management, has passed all four sections of the CPA exam.
Supply Chain Management December - January update
SCM undergraduate student Rachael Rekart was named a finalist for the W. P. Carey School's recognition of its Turken Family Outstanding Graduating Senior.
A paper by Mark Barratt, Elliot Rabinovich and Annibal Camara-Sodero has been accepted for publication in Supply Chain Management Review. The paper is titled "Inventory Accuracy: Essential, but Often Overlooked."
