SHMP has launched its chapter of the W.P. Carey Alumni.  A board was appointed after consultation with faculty and alumni. The board has been conducting business through monthly conference call.  The president is Troy Maxfield, Class of 2004. Troy is a fellow at Trinity Health at the St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise. The board consists of:

Troy Maxfield:Troy is a 2004 graduate of the dual MBA/MHSA degree program.  He currently serves as the President of the SHMP Alumni Association.  While at Arizona State, Troy was the recipient of the first annual Stuart A. Wesbury Jr. Outstanding Student Award. Currently, he is completing an administrative fellowship with Trinity Health at the organization's Saint Alphonsus, Boise, ID location. 

 

Anthony D. Robinson: Tony now works within their Global Services Procurement

Division supporting the Health and Human Services Tower. He graduated in 2002 from W.P. Carey with dual MHSA/MBA-SCM degrees.

 

Todd Salnas: In 1996, Todd attended Arizona State University and received a dual MBA and MHSA master’s degree.  In July 2000, he moved from Phoenix to Los Angels to take a position at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier, as Vice President of Operations.

 

Deborah Rodgers: Deb has a variety of experience in health care management, including program development, project management and strategic planning. Currently Deb works as an independent consultant. She received her Master of Health Services Administration degree from Arizona State University in 1995.

 

Mikelle D. Moore, CHE: Mikelle is the Chief Executive Officer and Administrator of LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.  LDS Hospital   In 1998, she completed master’s degrees in business administration and health services administration from Arizona State University.

 

Gary K. Wilde:  Gary is thePresident and Chief Executive Officer at Community Memorial Hospital.  Gary received his Master of Health Services Administration from Arizona State University.

 

Stella Xenakis: Stella is presently working as Associate Director with Health Care Connect which is a non-profit organization created to provide medical services to low income persons in Maricopa County. She received her MBA/MHSM from Arizona State University, 1999

 

Brian Harris graduated in 2003 from ASU with a dual MBA/MHSA degree. He is currently employed with Becton and Dickinson Medical in Salt Lake City, Utah working in Product Management within the medical/surgical division.

Carla Fischer graduated in 2006 with a MHSM degree and is currently working at St. Joseph Hospital as an Academic Program Coordinator.
