Symposium 2006: Cultivating and Securing the Information Supply Chain presented the latest innovations in knowledge, security, business processes and technology available for the information supply chain. The information supply chain is an information-centric view of physical and virtual supply chains where each entity adds value to the chain by providing the right information to the right entity at the right time in a secure manner. Symposium 2005 Special Issue Articles

The interconnected nature of the knowledge economy demands the development of pragmatic processes to address pressing security issues in today's competitive and sometimes exposed environment. Symposium 2005: Information Security in the Knowledge Economy assembled information technology leaders to exchange knowledge of these security issues and to share experiences with the tools required to better protect organizations. Presenters showcased the pioneering ideas and insights that sustain the development of the knowledge economy.
