Committees

The SDG accomplishes its goals through various committees described below. Working on a committee is a rewarding way to be involved with college activities, interact with fellow staff, and won't interfere with your work schedule. If you'd like to volunteer for a committee or any other event, fill out our on-line form at Volunteer Central.

Awards
Amanda Couturier, Marketing and Communications

Responsible for coordinating the End-of-Year Awards, Dean's Staff Recognition, School of Business Team Award, and Staff Services Award.

Bylaws
Traci Helwig, Dean's Office
The Bylaws Committee shall undertake an annual review to update the Constitution and Bylaws of the SDG.

Elections
Responsible for coordinating the Annual Officer Election (May) and any special elections throughout the year.

Social / Activities 
Responsible for planning and hosting the Holiday Luncheon, End of Year Potluck, and coordinating workshops and seminars requested by the School of Business Staff.

Website 
Emily Thompson, Chair/Webmaster, W. P. Carey MBA
Responsible for revising, maintaining, and updating the W. P. Carey School of Business SDG website. Changes to the SDG website will be made in consultation with the SDG Executive Board. The Website Committee will also work with the Awards Committee to update awards nomination web page. A minimum of three website revisions or updates per year shall be maintained.

Welcoming
Responsible for contacting new School of Business classified staff members and welcoming them to the W. P. Carey School of Business.
