Dr. David E. Cantor is Dean’s Faculty Fellow and Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management at the College of Business at Iowa State University.  He received his Ph.D. in supply chain management from the University of Maryland. Dr. Cantor’s primary research interest is in supply chain management with a particular focus in the U.S. motor carrier industry.  His other areas of research interest are on issues of competition and behavioral strategy in the supply chain.  His research has been published in Journal of Operations Management, Decision Sciences, Journal of Business Logistics, Transportation Journal, and Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, and International Journal of Logistics Management. Dr. Cantor serves on the following editorial boards including Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Business Logistics, Journal of Supply Chain Management, and Transportation Research Part E.

Wendy L. Tate, Ph.D. (Arizona State University, 2006) is an Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management in the University of Tennessee, Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management. She joined the faculty in August of 2006. She teaches both undergraduate and MBA students Strategic Sourcing and Manufacturing and Service Operations and has an interest in the cost impacts of business decisions across the supply chain. She is active on the UT campus and serves on many committees. She served for five years as the faculty advisor of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), a very active student run professional organization for supply chain managers. She has published in both academic and practitioner top rated journals in supply chain management. She enjoys research and takes a special interest in translating academic work into classroom learning activities. Her research focuses on two primary business problems. The first is in the area of services purchasing including outsourcing and offshoring. The second is on environmental business practices and trying to understand how these initiatives can be diffused across a supply chain and a supply network. She presents at many different venues including both academic and practitioner oriented conferences.

Christina W.Y. Wong is an associate professor in the Business Division of the Institute of Textiles and Clothing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research interests include the management and performance of sustainable operations and supply chain practices. Her recent works have appeared in Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Supply Chain Management, Omega, Journal of Management Information Systems, International Journal of Production Economics, Information & Management, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, among other journals. She serves the editorial board of Journal of Supply Chain Management, and is an editor of International Journal of Shipping and Transport logistics.

Dr. Vikram Bhakoo is a Senior Lecturer within the Operations Management discipline in the Department of Management & Marketing at the University of Melbourne, Australia. His current stream of research focuses on technology adoption and diffusion issues, buyer/supplier relationships and health care operations. His research specifically seeks to develop a comprehensive understanding around the institutional and contextual dynamics at play when organizations are embedded in different tiers of the supply chain. He has published his work in a variety of prestigious journals such as the Journal of Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Production Planning & Control amongst others. He currently serves on the editorial review board of the Journal of Supply Chain Management. His research agenda continues to draw support from the Australian Research Council and the University of Melbourne.

Dr. Bhakoo holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Delhi and a Masters in Information Systems and a PhD from Monash University. Prior to embarking on an academic career, he has worked in textile manufacturing, financial services and information technology sectors in business development and supply chain management roles.

Benn Lawson is a University Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) of Operations Management at Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. He holds a PhD from The University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University, and is a member of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (MCIPS), UK.  Previously, Benn was a Senior Lecturer at Queen’s University Belfast (2004-2009), and Lecturer at the Department of Marketing & Management, The University of Melbourne (2000-2003).  Benn’s research focuses on supply chain management, including supply chain strategy, product development-supply chain design interface, and inter-organizational relationships. His work has been published in journals such as Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Product Innovation Management and Journal of Supply Chain Management. He is a member of the Academy of Management, Industry Studies Association, Production & Operations Management Society, and the European Operations Management Association.

Stephan M. Wagner is a Full Professor, holds the Kuehne Foundation-sponsored Chair of Logistics Management, and is Director of the Executive MBA in Supply Chain Management at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich), Switzerland. He received a MBA from Washington State University, and both, a Ph.D. and Habilitation degree from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

His research interests lie in the areas of supply chain management, purchasing and supply management, logistics and transportation management – with a particular emphasis on strategy, networks, relationships, behavioral issues, risk, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He is author and editor of ten books and more than hundred book chapters and articles. He has published in journals such as Journal of Operations Management, Decision Sciences, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, or California Management Review.

He serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Operations Management, the Decision Sciences Journal, the Journal of Business Logistics, the Journal of Supply Chain Management and the Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management, and is an active member of numerous professional and academic associations.
