W. P. Carey Program Overview
The W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University is one of the largest business schools in the United States with more than 250 faculty, 1,800 graduate students and over 8,300 undergraduate students. The school is internationally recognized for its leadership in business education and is highly regarded for its renowned faculty and their research productivity.
Each area of study focuses on providing our students with a greater appreciation and understanding of the core areas of business. Undergraduates can earn a B.S. degree in one of nine business disciplines or a B.A. combining core business classes with a concentration outside the W. P. Carey School. The school also offers graduate programs that include one of the nation’s most flexible and versatile MBA degrees, master’s and Ph.D. degrees, and executive education programs.
Undergraduate
The W. P. Carey School of Business offers freshman and transfer students the opportunity to receive a B.S. degree in one of seven business disciplines (accountancy, computer information systems, economics, finance, management, marketing or supply chain management) or a B.A. combining core business classes with a concentration in communication, global politics, legal studies, public service and public policy, statistics, sustainability, tourism management or urban policy.
MBA
The W. P. Carey MBA offers four options for individuals seeking to earn an MBA on a full-time or part-time schedule. Besides the full-time course of study, students can select an option that offers flexible course meeting dates, times and locations through evening, executive or online formats. Each program offers a core business curriculum supplemented with additional coursework in elective areas.
Master's/Ph.D.
The W. P. Carey School Doctoral program is designed for students interested in teaching and conducting research at four-year institutions of higher education. We have two programs available: the Ph.D. in business administration and the Ph.D. in economics.
Master of Science degrees are offered in three areas: accountancy, taxation, and information management. We also offer a trans-disciplinary Master of Real Estate Development.
Professional Development
The Center for Executive and Professional Development strives to impact the lives of working professionals by providing them access to excellence in business education. The center offers a range of highly-focused, interactive learning programs that expose working professionals to leading-edge business thinking and practices. Courses are taught by the same faculty who teach in our nationally ranked MBA program.
