Leading Effective Team ProcessesTeams often encounter obstacles to effective collaboration as they proceed through their day-to-day activities. These problems include, but are not limited to, breakdowns in communication, lack of participation, and dysfunctional conflict. This module focuses on identifying the problems that most frequently disrupt teams and the options for intervening to improve these dynamics. Learning Objectives
Who Should AttendThis workshop is most suitable for individuals currently working in teams or leading teams. FacultyJennifer Nahrgang is an assistant professor of management. She previously held positions at Michigan State University and ExxonMobil Corporation. Her research interests are in leadership processes and their development over time, leader-follower relationships, leadership in teams, team processes and performance, and design of work. She was the recipient of several awards, including the 2008 HR Division SHROM Foundation Dissertation Grant Award and the 2007 Outstanding Reviewer Award from the OB Division of the Academy of Management. Cancellation PolicyA cancellation request received at least one week prior to the program will be refunded in full minus a 10% cancellation fee. Or, you have the option to apply registration to another 2012 course. A cancellation request received less than one week prior to the start of the program will have the option to apply registration to another 2012 course. A cancellation request received on or after the day of the program will not be eligible for a refund.
