2012 SIM Leadership Development Program Details
Change is constant. Economic conditions are challenging. Doing more with less is required. Knowing how to navigate and lead is crucial. Investing in a transformative leadership experience is imperative.
The SIM Leadership Development Program (LDP), a partnership between the W. P. Carey School of Business and the Society for Information Management, focuses on the process of developing leaders by blending thought-provoking content with insightful facilitation, exposure to new ideas, access to established leaders, and time for personal reflection. It provides the forum for participants to experience significant personal growth while also becoming more adept at leading during a period of unprecedented challenges.
Program Format
Six two-day sessions held at the W. P. Carey School of Business on Arizona State University’s campus in Tempe, AZ. View the 2012 sample program schedule. 
A reading list of over thirty books serves as preparation materials for the sessions. A SIM program facilitator, W. P. Carey School faculty and IT and business executives lead discussions, share insights and provide exposure to issues and trends that will shape future leaders’ business decisions. 2012 Tuition
The $7,500 tuition includes the cost of program books and materials, breakfast and lunch on session days, an opening reception and a graduation event for participants, their families and sponsors. Discounts are available for SIM Members and ASU alumni.
