Managing Team DiversityTeams face a variety of differences -- culture, geography, expertise, and many more. Although these differences provide teams with enormous potential, they can often be stumbling blocks to effective collaboration. This workshop focuses on ways in which leaders and team members can help bridge these differences in order to achieve the team’s full potential. Learning Objectives
Who Should AttendLeaders from any industry with or without direct reports will benefit from this workshop FacultyJennifer Nahrgang is an assistant professor of management at the W. P. Carey School of Business. She previously held positions at Michigan State University and ExxonMobil Corporation. Her research interests are in leadership processes and their development over time, leader-follower relationships, leadership in teams, team processes and performance, and design of work. She was the recipient of several awards, including the 2008 HR Division SHROM Foundation Dissertation Grant Award and the 2007 Outstanding Reviewer Award from the OB Division of the Academy of Management. Registration Procedures and DeadlinesThe registration deadline has passed. Cancellation PolicyA cancellation request received at least one week prior to the program will be refunded in full minus a 10% cancellation fee. Or, you have the option to apply registration to another 2013 course. A cancellation request received less than one week prior to the start of the program will have the option to apply registration to another 2013 course. A cancellation request received on or after the day of the program will not be eligible for a refund.
