Inspiration and Motivation as Leadership Tools

Leaders are always interested in getting people to do things in support of a larger goal. However, this is often easier said than done. We will discuss how you go beyond recognition, praise, and money to find unique and actionable ways to motivate and inspire people toward collaboration, loyalty, and performance.

Learning Objectives

  • To understand the key difference between motivation and inspiration.
  • To gain an appreciation for the notion that inspiration is less about "unmotivated" people and more about a leader's ability to motivate.
  • To walk away with a tool-kit of behaviors to inspire those around you.
  • To recognize that you can balance being able to create affinity toward you personally while still driving results for the organization.

Who Should Attend

Individuals in leadership roles and managers with direct reports will benefit from this topic. Those who will be moving into these roles in the future also would benefit from exposure to workshop discussions and tools.
