Master of Science in Information Management - Online Program

Orientation: Online Master’s MIS Program

Before your online information systems master's courses begin, you will participate in a required three-day on-campus orientation at W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Though you complete your studies from the convenience of your home or office, the online Master’s MIS program is a truly collaborative experience, and orientation is the foundation upon which your team relationships are built.

Orientation is the only required campus visit, and includes an introduction to the W. P. Carey School of Business, faculty-led presentations and team-building activities.

At orientation you will meet your fellow online information systems master's students, as well as the W. P. Carey professors and faculty. Our staff will be there to assist you throughout the program and familiarize you with the unique technologies used to deliver your courses and materials.

Additionally, you will meet and interact with your W. P. Carey professors, who will present course overviews and review class policies such as deadlines, grading and contact methodologies unique to the online learning environment.

Various social gatherings and experiential team activities during orientation will get you acquainted with your online master’s MIS colleagues and open up networking channels. Your accommodations, transportation to and from orientation activities, and most meals are provided by the W. P. Carey School.
