Anna Escobedo Cabral, the Treasurer of the United States, Visits ASU W. P. Carey, January 2006.

The Department of Marketing Winter Intersession Strategic Marketing class recently had the opportunity to hear Anna Escobedo Cabral, the Treasurer of the United States, speak on issues important both to Arizona, and to the broader United States.  Ms Cabral expressed her delight at the strong presence of young people in the audience, and after a prepared speech, addressed the concerns and questions of the many ASU W. P. Carey students.  Among many topics, the issue of future job opportunities and the benefits of a college education surfaced.  Ms Cabral congratulated ASU students on their efforts and noted that the future, notwithstanding many challenges, was bright and that “The US is the picture of economic health”.
