Program Overview

The W. P. Carey Professional MBA is ideal for busy working professionals who want to broaden their professional and managerial expertise through the completion of an MBA on a part-time schedule. Whether you are motivated by advancement in your current career or you wish to acquire skills in a new area, the Weekend program will give you the competitive edge you need to further your goals.

The 18-month Weekend program begins in January, and combines classroom learning every other weekend with online learning. The innovative program allows you to work in a case-based and team-oriented environment and leverage the experience of your peers as they learn from you. You can also immediately apply the skills and knowledge you gain to your individual work environment.

Convenient and Flexible

Core classes for the Weekend program are held on ASU’s Tempe campus every other weekend, Friday from 4:30 – 9:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am – 5:00pm. Each core course consists of 60% classroom and 40% online instruction. Online learning is customized for each course to best deliver core concepts of the same quality as our classroom instruction.

Flexibility is a cornerstone of the W. P. Carey Professional MBA, allowing you to choose 15 credits of elective courses. Electives are 100% online and can be taken in one functional area to complete an in-depth area of emphasis or a technical certificate. You also can choose to take courses in different disciplines to provide breadth across business functions. Additionally, off-site electives in Washington, D.C. and international locations are available.
