Orientation

Before your Online MBA courses begin, you will join us for a comprehensive four-day orientation on the ASU campus that introduces you to the curriculum and your classmates – many of whom will be teammates for class assignments. Even though you will complete your studies via the Web from virtually anywhere in the world, the team-based structure of the W. P. Carey Online MBA makes it a truly collaborative experience.

Online MBA Launch

Because orientation propels you directly into one of the top online MBA programs in the country, we call it Launch. Held on ASU’s main campus in Tempe, Launch is your only required campus visit during the Online MBA program, making it one of the only truly flexible top online MBA programs in the nation.

At Launch, you’ll meet members of our support staff who will assist you throughout the program, and become familiar with the technologies used to deliver your online MBA courses. Faculty members will present course overviews and review class policies such as deadlines, grading and contact methodologies unique to the online learning environment.

Social outings and team-building activities will help you get acquainted with your classmates, open up networking channels, and build connections from the start. Your accommodations, transportation to and from orientation activities, and most meals are provided by the W. P. Carey School.

All Launch events are mandatory. Some pre-Launch activities will be made available in an online video tutorial format, allowing you to complete them earlier at your own pace. Further details will be made available through your enrollment checklist.
