How to Apply

Before you begin the web-based application, please make sure you have the following information available for use during the application process:

• A current electronic resume with employment and salary history
• The beginning/ending dates and location(s) of your academic degree(s)
• Other personal information such as a listing of recent honors, awards or certificates, a summary of basic computer skills, a list of overseas travels and/or work postings, and a record of extracurricular and/or current community/civic involvement
• Copies of transcripts for grade point average (GPA) calculation purposes

Web-based Application

The Graduate Admissions Application collects the majority of information required by the ASU Graduate College, as well as the supplemental information needed by the specific W. P. Carey MBA program to which you are applying.

Sections include:

• GMAT Test Scores and GPA
• Arizona Residency Classification
• W. P. Carey MBA Program Choice
• W. P. Carey Supplemental Application

GMAT

Include a copy of each test score (if available) in your supplemental application materials mailing.

For applicants who retake the GMAT, the W. P. Carey MBA will only consider the highest score and does not average scores. Arrangements to schedule an exam should be made directly with a GMAT testing center. Test information may be found in the GMAT section of our website.

English Proficiency

Click here to see if you are required to take the TOEFL or IELTS. Please note the following required minimums for the W. P. Carey MBA:

Notification of Admission

The ASU Graduate College will notify you of an admission decision by U.S. first class mail. Decisions will not be provided by phone, fax, or e-mail unless authorized in advance by you. You may expect additional confirmation from the W. P. Carey MBA office.

ASURITE User ID

Following final submission of your online application, you will receive a notice from the ASU Graduate College informing you of your ASURITE User ID. This ID may then be used to check your graduate admissions status at www.asu.edu/interactive. This tool will allow you to check the most current status of your ASU application and will be available to you 24 hours a day/seven days a week. Additional application status questions may be directed to wpcareymba.status@asu.edu.
