Orientation

Before your W. P. Carey Full-time MBA classes begin in August, you will join us for a comprehensive orientation that introduces you to the curriculum and your classmates – many of whom will also be teammates for class assignments. Because orientation propels you directly into the transformative two-year MBA experience, we call it Launch.

Full-time MBA Launch

Combining academic sessions with opportunities to engage with members of the W. P. Carey community, Launch will give you a chance to meet current students, faculty members, and our dedicated staff. In addition, it will provide you with a thorough understanding of your Full-time MBA experience, including:

• Core curriculum and electives
• Case teaching methodology and preparing for case discussions
• Working in teams and team assignments
• Career management services and resources

All Launch events are mandatory. Some pre-Launch activities will be made available in an online video tutorial format, allowing you to complete them earlier at your own pace. Further details will be made available through your enrollment checklist.

International Students

Launch for international students is held at the beginning of the Full-time MBA program to help you transition to both a new school environment and a new culture. We provide information to help you with such essentials as setting up a bank account, obtaining a driver's license and learning American etiquette. In addition, we will help prepare you for successful learning in an American university.

Note: All Launch events are mandatory for international students.
