In the Classroom

When you enroll in the W. P. Carey MBA – Full-time Program, you become part of a team of diverse students and faculty who facilitate your learning throughout the two-year program. The team- and case-based learning environment provides you with the opportunity to not only share your experiences with your classmates, but also to learn from their experiences. With class sizes never exceeding 50 students, you can expect your teachers to know your name and request your participation in class. Written assignments, quizzes, case write-ups, problem sets, exams and class participation contribute to your grade.

As a full-time MBA student, you are expected to be on campus all day each weekday during the academic year. You attend classes and meet with groups to complete team assignments. Most courses meet twice a week for two hours. 

Outside the Classroom

Life at W. P. Carey is about more than academics. It is a rich experience that begins in the classroom and extends throughout all aspects of your life. The key to being successful in the program is maintaining the appropriate balance between academics and other activities.

The W. P. Carey MBA program offers a staff of student services professionals who coordinate some of the details related to your experience. You also have the opportunity to participate in a wide array of co-curricular activities through clubs, professional organizations and student government.
