Career Leadership Course

Career Leadership is an innovative required core business course that helps you define your career goals, build a personal action plan and refine your resume and interviewing skills.

Classes meet weekly and utilize a case discussion format. Assignments include completion of a resume, interview preparation, a mock interview and case preparation.

Personal Career Goals

During the summer prior to attending the program, you will complete an assignment that will assist you in clarifying your career goals by identifying your interests, skills and preferences.

You will then meet with a member of our career management team to discuss your personal results. Ongoing career coaching sessions will help you develop the skills necessary to be successful in finding an internship and in your full-time employment search.

Case Competition

The second portion of the course focuses on enhancing your presentation skills to a sophisticated and highly competitive level, culminating in a case competition event.

Emotional Intelligence also will be introduced as a tool to provide you with the opportunity to build your leadership skills and identify and strengthen your leadership competencies.
