Emerging Leaders Program

The W. P. Carey Full-time MBA offers admission to a limited number of high-achieving students through its Emerging Leaders Program.

The program allows undergraduates who complete a bachelor’s degree in the fall or spring to be directly admitted into the MBA program without the two years of full-time post-bachelor’s work experience normally required for admission.

Qualifications

The Emerging Leaders Program is extremely competitive, with only one to three students admitted each year. The W. P. Carey MBA Program seeks the following in applicants:

• Undergraduate coursework in business or a quantitative field
• A strong academic profile or GPA
•  Exemplary performance on the GMAT
• Significant internship or co-op experiences in professional work environments
• Demonstrated leadership positions in extra-curricular activities
• Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, professionalism, drive and motivation
• Established career goals consistent with an MBA specialization
• Past experience working with and contributing to a team
