International Applicants

As a international student, your application entails additional requirements. While most are referenced in the online application, here is a quick reference guide.

Transcripts and Degree Requirements

The ASU Graduate College requires that international transcripts be designated as official and be submitted in their original language with an English translation. Three-year degrees with no additional coursework typically do not qualify as having an equivalent U.S. bachelor's degree.

Generally, for a three-year bachelor's degree to be equivalent it must be combined with the following:

• At least one year of study toward a two-year degree program such as an M.S., M.A., M.Com., MBA or LLB
• Any one-year diploma in the same field of study such as B.Ed., M.A., M.S., or M.Phil.
• A second bachelor's degree

The ASU Graduate College has ultimate responsibility for transcript evaluation and approval of degree equivalency.

Grade Point Averages

The ASU Graduate College provides detailed instructions on grade point average conversions for your convenience. The GPA is requested during the online application process.

English Language Proficiency

If English in not your native language, you must provide proof of English proficiency. Review details regarding English language proficiency.

Interviews

To help you complete the interview portion of your W. P. Carey Full-time MBA application, we offer interviews for admission via webcam should you be unable to travel to the U.S. to conduct the admissions interview in person. Interviews are conducted by invitation only. Additional instructions will be provided to you should the Admission Committee extend you an invitation to interview. 

Application Fee

The application fee for international students is $90 and may be paid online at the time of application submission.

Visas and Financial Guarantee

Documentation to secure a visa is provided by the ASU Graduate College three to five months prior to the term of enrollment. Upon admission, you will be required to submit a Financial Guarantee form and an enrollment deposit before we can begin to process your visa documents. You may select your preferred method of delivery for your visa documents through your MY ASU account. Additional information is available on the ASU Graduate College Web site .
