Curriculum

The W. P. Carey Full-time MBA program offers a comprehensive core business curriculum spread over the first and second years of the program. Similar to many other full-time MBA programs, most core business courses are taken during the first year, providing for a comprehensive foundation for the summer internship experience and specialization courses.

Your Full-time MBA core courses will include:

Year One
Quarter 1 - Begins in August Financial Accounting Organization Theory and Behavior Strategic Leadership Managerial Statistics Career Leadership Business Plan Lab	Quarter 2 - Begins in October Business Communication Managerial Finance Marketing Management Operations and Supply Chain Management Managerial Economics Business Plan Lab
Quarter 3 - Begins in January Managerial Accounting Management Information and Decision Support Systems Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition *Course in specialization or elective*	Quarter 4 - Begins in March Negotiations *Courses in specialization or elective*

Summer
Internship Experience The mandatory Internship Experience extends beyond the normal eight-week summer session due to the academic requirements needed for completion. This course will be assessed summer tuition and fees. Please note assistantship waivers do not apply to summer tuition.		Optional Global Immersion Experience Choose international electives to complement your MBA experience and in-class learning. These courses are taken prior to the beginning of most internships, allowing you to complete both.
