W. P. Carey MBA Full-time Program Program Overview The W. P. Carey MBA - Full-time Program is ideal for acquiring broad business skills in conjunction with a functional emphasis in one of our many areas of specialization. The case-based and team-oriented learning format delivered over the course of 21 months integrates a core business curriculum with an in-depth specialization. A required internship experience between the first and second year of the program along with a career leadership course set the stage for a productive post-graduate career. Full-time students are engaged in a rigorous curriculum over the course of two academic years during which they choose an immersed educational experience. The small and cohesive class size provides for individual learning, close faculty interaction and an intense sense of community and commitment to personal and professional development. Our Student Services and Career Management teams are second to none in providing students with the enhanced experience, personalized service and individual attention you need to achieve academic success while also focusing on your future. Post-graduate employment of full-time students is near the top of all U.S. business schools, with over 95% of students securing employment within three months of graduation. Admission to the W. P. Carey MBA Full-time Program is selective. In addition to the online application process, qualifying domestic students will be invited for a personal interview through our campus visit program. Over $2.3 million in scholarship funds are available each year to full-time applicants based on the merit of individual applications. Program Format - Twenty-one month program beginning with the Fall semester of each year and lasting two academic years
- Attend classes four to five days per week and engage in team-based study groups
- Courses follow a traditional academic year divided into three 10-week trimesters
- Small class size with fewer than fifty students per course for core courses allowing for a high level of interactive class discussion
- Often fewer than 20 students per course for specialization course offerings
Academics - A high-quality core business curriculum incorporating core business courses in strategy, management, finance, marketing, statistics, computer information systems, economics, accounting, ethics and supply chain management delivered over the course of the first and second years of the program
