MBA Full-time

Financial Aid for International Students

Limited assistance is available to international students who hold an F1 (student visa) or J1 (student exchange visa). This assistance consists of private scholarships, alternative loans from banks, private lenders, on-campus hourly employment, and any assistance from the student's home country. Students should contact their academic department about teaching or research assistantships. The departments provide appropriate forms to apply for these positions.

To assist you in financing your cost of attendance if the need arises, the W. P. Carey School of Business offers Alternative Loans for International Students. As a non-citizen you will be eligible to apply for these alternative loans with the aid of a credit-worthy co-applicant who is a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident (two years residency minimum).

As a W. P. Carey MBA student there is also and abundant amount of funding available through scholarships from private sources. It is recommended that you become proactive in your search to acquire as much funding from scholarships as possible. An efficient way to do this is by creating a scholarship search profile with one of the many web-based scholarship search engines. By creating a profile you will be able to increase your opportunity for viable scholarships by singling out those scholarships that are unique to your characteristics, i.e. ethnicity, religious affiliation, employer affiliation, etc. One recommended source is NextStudent's scholarship search engine. This no-cost, reputable tool can help you to locate those hard to find scholarships and fellowships for international students. Another source of scholarship funding is the many fellowships available through the Arizona State University Division of Graduate Studies.

NextStudent and its scholarship search engine are "privacy considerate." Student information used to create a scholarship search profile is not shared by NextStudent with third parties affiliates.
