Financial Aid - Application Process
Filling out the FAFSA
You are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
regardless of initial intent to secure funding. A new FAFSA will need to be completed for each academic year. The FAFSA will be completed utilizing the previous year's tax information.
Be sure to include ASU's School Code, 001081.
Personal Identification Number (PIN)
You must provide an electronic signature upon completing the FAFSA, which will serve as your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Apply for your PIN
online; this number is unique to you and does contain personal information. Your PIN will be available for immediate use to sign your FAFSA.
If you have previously completed the FAFSA online, you will only need to request a duplicate PIN.
