Interviews
The W. P. Carey MBA – Executive Program requires all eligible candidates to complete a rigorous interview to further assess your background and ability to contribute to an Executive MBA classroom environment.
After an initial review of your complete application, including all supplemental materials, our recruiting manager may contact you to schedule an interview with the program's faculty director and an admissions staff member.
Interview Format
Interviews typically last 60 minutes and cover the following:
- Review of your professional work experience
- Discussion of professional goals and reasons for seeking an MBA
- Behavioral examples from your work experience detailing your abilities to manage people, projects and budgets
Applicants should plan to interview in person on campus. Once invited for an interview, you will be provided with details regarding parking and the interview location.
Upon completion of the interview, your file will be considered complete and ready for a decision by the Admissions Committee. Decisions regarding admission to the Executive Program typically are made within two weeks of the interview.
