Business and Public Policy
A course in Business and Public Policy is held in Washington, D.C., and at the Arizona State Capitol in Phoenix during the summer, at the end of the first year of the program. Students will:
- Experience firsthand the structure and operations of the various branches of government
- Learn how to monitor and anticipate key public policy decisions and assess the various political players and their interests
- Participate in a simulation in which key policy decisions are made
- Gain insight and appreciation for the importance of public policy issues when thinking strategically about their organization's current operations and future plans
