Curriculum
The W. P. Carey MBA – Executive Program offers a comprehensive general management curriculum spread over two academic years. Core business courses are augmented by additional off-site courses to provide a rich learning experience. The Business and Public Policy course is offered in year one and the International Practicum is held in year two. Throughout both years of the program, the Thought Leadership course brings executives to the classroom to discuss current business trends.

Executive Program Notes
- The MBA program operates on three 10-week trimesters during the academic year. Some courses in the second year of the curriculum meet for half of the trimester.
- Classes meet every other Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Strategic Management Capstone course meets for the duration of trimester six during the second year.
- Thought Leadership sessions occur throughout the both years of the program.
- A one-week break occurs between trimesters in October and February.
- The International Practicum course is held on-site in an international location that varies from year to year.
- Exact course meeting dates are determined by the ASU academic calendar and are available approximately six months before orientation on the Web site for newly admitted students.
- Sequencing of courses may vary from year to year in response to a changing business environment.
- Students are responsible for air travel costs associated with the off-campus components of the program.
