Deadlines

It is never too late to apply for financial aid; the FAFSA can be completed at any point in your current academic year. However, to ensure timely initial disbursement of funds, we recommend the following schedules for completing your financial aid submissions.

Fall Program Start:

June 15: Recommended date to complete your FAFSA. Additional documentation may need to be completed prior to receiving your award offer for financial aid.  

July 15: Turn in all supporting documentation requested by Student Financial Assistance. Documentation requested on the "to do's" via My ASU must be turned in before financial aid can be awarded, and as the beginning of the semester nears, processing time increases for supporting documentation.

August 1: Actively accept your Financial Aid via My ASU. In order to receive your disbursement of financial aid, you need to be an admitted student and actively accept it online.

Spring Program Start:
