Electives

The W. P. Carey MBA - Evening and Evening Accelerated Programs allow you to customize your degree by selecting elective courses that complement the core business curriculum. You can choose electives in one area to obtain depth in an area of emphasis or from different disciplines to provide breadth across business functions. Technical certificates also are available if you seek additional technical expertise.

Most students begin to take electives after completion of the first trimester. Students enrolled in the Evening Accelerated Program often take electives concurrently with their core courses. Electives may be offered during trimester, winter, summer or spring breaks to provide ease of scheduling. The course offerings are updated annually, but prospective students can review electives for the upcoming academic year.

To further enrich your education experience, we offer additional off-site electives in Washington, D.C., and a number of countries around the world.
