On Campus Electives

The W. P. Carey MBA - Evening and Evening Accelerated Programs provide students the opportunity to customize their degree program through selection of a number of electives across many business disciplines which complement the core business curriculum.  Individuals may choose electives in one area to obtain depth in an area of emphasis or from different disciplines to provide breadth across business functions.

Elective courses may be offered during trimester, winter, summer or spring breaks to provide ease of scheduling.  Electives offered are updated annually, but prospective students may review elective offerings for the upcoming academic year.  Students enrolled in the evening accelerated program may take elective courses concurrently with their core courses.

Most students will begin to take electives after completion of the first trimester in the W. P. Carey MBA Program.  Additional information regarding elective selection, areas of emphasis and registration is provided upon admission to the program.

Additional off-site electives are available in Washington DC and a number of countries around the world.
