Financial Assistance Deadlines

Students needing financial assistance are encouraged to complete the FAFSA as early as possible regardless of an offer of admission being extended by the W. P. Carey School of Business.

Students applying to the W. P. Carey MBA - Online Program (July start only) have a condensed timeline in which all of the aforementioned financial aid processing needs to occur. All of the aforementioned deadlines need to occur between Feb. 15th and July 15th.

DeadlineSignificance
March 1 FAFSA Priority deadline which results in consideration of all forms of need-based aid in regards to eligibility. Opportunity for University-based grants and scholarships improves.
June 15** FAFSA deadline for all MBA platforms. Students submitting FAFSA's after this date cannot be guaranteed disbursement of their financial aid awards prior the start of class.
July 15 Any and all supporting documentation requested by the financial aid offices of ASU or the W. P. Carey School of Business must be submitted in order to assure completion of the student's financial aid file. A student's financial aid disbursement can be scheduled only after the completion of their file.
August 1 Student must accept financial aid awards via ASU Interactive no later than August 1 in order for the disbursements to occur prior to the start of class.
