Areas of Emphasis
Represent sets of courses that provide students with the opportunity to gain depth of knowledge in a particular domain of interest.  Because they are flexible nine credit-hour experiences, the "areas of emphasis" are not intended to provide all of the necessary skills for students to pursue a career in an emphasized area.  Courses do not have to be taken in any particular sequence.
