As part of our mission to promote the Finance to the business community, the Association plans a number of onsite visits to local corporations. In addition, we plan to conduct outreach visits to cities around the west.

Outreach Program

Our annual Outreach Program sends W. P. Carey MBA students directly to major firms to discuss what our students have to offer. The goal is to generate interest in the program so that recruiters may consider W. P. Carey MBA students as prospective hires and interns. The program is funded and coordinated through the Career Management Center, the Finance Department, and the Dean's Office. In addition to presentations to executives at various firms, the outreach also provides an opportunity to hold social gatherings with W. P. Carey MBA alumni in the area.

In past years, we had very successful trips to NY, LA and San Diego. This year, we are traveling to San Francisco in March.
