Graduation

There are over 280 graduates from the W. P. Carey MBA China program. Each year the program brings graduates all the way from China to experience the Graduation Ceremony in the United States. For most of the students who were not able to come, a special Graduation Ceremony was held in China to celebrate their accomplishment.

The first cohort of the China MBA program - Finance Track graduated in June 2005 and the commencement was held in Shanghai by President Michael Crow. This is the first time in the history of ASU where the degrees were conferred by an ASU President outside of Arizona. The Executive Vice Minister of Finance, Mr. Lou Jiwei and Mayor of Shanghai, Mr. Han Zheng, both delivered a graduation address to the graduates.
