Program Format

W. P. Carey China Program works with companies on a one-to-one basis to achieve high-impact learning outcomes that are specifically identified to meet the needs of each company. The program aims to train experienced professionals with emphasis on practical application and operation, and bring them one step closer to senior executive management positions.

With an accession to the World Trade Organization, China commits itself to global integration and will become an economy powerhouse in the global markets for years to come. This means an immense growth opportunity for the State Owned Enterprises for global engagement and partnership with multi-national firms.

In 2004, W. P. Carey China Program created a custom Executive Education Program for China Unicom with goals to:

• Improve ability to manage resources, measure performance, create shareholder values.
• Learn the language and techniques of financial management in a global environment.
• Equips with all of the strategic and managerial concepts one need to understand, manage and predict the financial implications of one’s managerial decisions.

Upon completing the program, participants received a certificate of Advanced Global Management awarded by the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
