With an accession to the World Trade Organization, China commits itself to global integration. This program aligns with the U.S. government’s policy to engage China. More importantly, increasing the managerial acumen of these executives in the program will make their enterprises more profitable, and improve the lives of ordinary Chinese, many of whom do not share in the prosperity of the cities. It is the common belief of all faculty members who participate in this program. By helping the leaders and their firms to succeed, we help the people.
