China Program

The W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University is directly involved in the development of top leadership in China. In 2003, we launched an Executive MBA program in Shanghai. The W. P. Carey EMBA program is delivered in collaboration with Shanghai National Accounting Institute (SNAI) , which was founded by former Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji and is under the governance of China’s Ministry of Finance .

The business leaders emerging from this program will shape U.S.-Sino trade relationships during China’s continued global expansion. The academic program is the cornerstone of a number of new offerings that include knowledge transfer and access to the highest level of decision makers in China.

Faculty and Students

Prestigious academic programs include two key elements: the faculty and the students. No other program offers a more impressive list of faculty or students than the W. P. Carey EMBA program in Shanghai. The faculty includes internationally renowned thought leaders from the W. P. Carey School of Business and scholars from other major American business schools such as Berkeley, Cornell, MIT and Yale. The students are equally impressive. Many of them are senior executive leaders of the largest state-owned enterprises in China.

The W. P. Carey EMBA program in Shanghai was ranked 42nd globally by the Financial Times in 2008, its first year of eligibility.
