MBA Full-Time - Customize your MBA

Customize your MBA

Align your MBA with your career goals. Specialize in one field or take courses from across our highly regarded academic departments and develop a breadth of knowledge. The choice is yours.

Specializations

Gain significant depth in a select discipline. You can also pursue two specializations, depending on course scheduling. Because of early on-campus recruiting and prioritizing specialization classes over the course of the program, you will be expected to choose a specialization around the first week in October during your first year.

Download the documents below to learn more about adding a specialization to your Full-time MBA.

Areas of Emphasis

Explore one field of study or combine areas of emphasis for a broader approach. Areas of emphasis may be chosen at any point during the program, so long as you have enough time to complete your selection and have met the prerequisites.

  • Entrepreneurship
  • Finance
  • Health Sector Management
  • International Business
  • Leadership
  • Marketing
  • Supply Chain Management

Concurrent Degrees

Combine your MBA with another degree — within the W. P. Carey School or from another ASU college — in less time and for less expense than earning them separately.

International Electives

Explore the global intersections of business, culture and politics and broaden your exposure to business concepts in locations around the world.

Destinations vary each year; recent international trips have included:

  • France and Spain
  • Austria and the Czech Republic
  • Bosnia, Herzegovina, Greece
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • Australia
  • Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam
  • China
  • India
  • Argentina
  • Peru

Business and Public Policy

Discover how federal policy is developed and gain access to key players within the public policy process. Develop a comprehensive understanding of regulatory, economic, tax and trade policies during on-campus classes and meet with legislators, lobbyists and corporate officials during a high-touch one-week summer session in Washington, D.C.
