Technology

The W. P. Carey School of Business ensures that technology delivers the power of online distance learning. Unlike programs that rely heavily on videoconferencing, e-mail or a substantial amount of face-to-face time, the W. P. Carey Master of Science in Supply Chain Management and Engineering uses Web-based technology to deliver all courses.

Wherever you are in the world, at any time, you can access your course material over the Internet. Our course content is developed so that you control when, and even how, you access it.

The MS-SCME program leverages proven technologies to create a rich, interactive learning experience while still maintaining the flexibility you need as a working professional. You learn and share through interactive and dynamic presentations via Flash, streaming video, student-to-student communication, file and application sharing features, and other easy-to-use collaboration tools such as wikis and blogs.

Student Discounts

Once you are a W. P. Carey student, you are eligible for academic discounts on software and hardware new window.

Technology Requirements

The flexibility of the MS-SCME program requires that your personal computing environment meets certain hardware and software requirements. Students who may want to access course content from a computing system provided by their employer should be aware that many corporations have strict firewall and Internet security protocols in place. In addition, corporate policies sometimes prevent users from installing non-approved software that may be needed to access course content.

Please understand that such corporate security issues are an individual student's responsibility and should be resolved directly by the student with his or her corporate information technology support staff. The W. P. Carey School of Business does not have jurisdiction over corporate information technology infrastructure and policies.
