Evaluation Process

When determining your fit for the W. P. Carey Master of Science in Supply Chain Management and Engineering program, the Admissions Committee considers your resume, work experience, essays, academic transcript, GMAT or GRE score, and letter of recommendation.

You are encouraged to provide depth to your application through responses to the three essay questions.

Application files generally are reviewed by the Admissions Committee within two weeks of their completion, the admissions interview or notification date, whichever is later. You can review the status of your application new window and the receipt of materials.

The minimum requirement for admission to the W. P. Carey MS-SCME program is a four-year bachelor's degree or the equivalent of a U.S. four-year degree. Three-year bachelor's degrees are not considered equivalent.

Evaluation Criteria
Applications reviewed by the Admissions Committee may be considered more competitive if they are consistent with the class profile. Among the areas considered:

  • Years of professional work experience
  • Competitive undergraduate GPA
  • Previous coursework in business, supply chain, or engineering or engineering-related disciplines
  • A TOEFL score above 100 (iBT)
  • A competitive GMAT or GRE score
