Estimated total costs for the MRED program include:

  • Required textbooks and research software access
  • 24-Hour access to the W. P. Carey MRED suite including dedicated printers
  • Industry partner student membership/partnerships and dues
  • Admission to MRED exclusive networking and professional development events
  • Airfare, accommodation, programming and inter-visit transportation for MRED field studies trips

Estimated costs do not include:

  • Sun card
  • Parking
  • Personal expenditures for field studies trips
  • Additional university fees beyond the W. P. Carey program tuition

Note: All amounts shown in the Tuition and Fees Schedules or in other university publications or webpages represent tuition and fees as currently approved. However, Arizona State University reserves the right to increase or modify tuition and fees without prior notice, upon approval by the Arizona Board of Regents or as otherwise consistent with board policy, and to make such modifications applicable to students enrolled at ASU at that time as well as to incoming students. In addition, all tuition amounts and fees are subject to change at any time for correction of errors. Finally, please note that fee amounts billed for any period may be adjusted at a future date.

Program deposit

A one-time non-refundable enrollment deposit of $500 is also required before you register for classes.

Completing the FAFSA

To apply for federal financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The application is available October 1 for the following academic year. ASU's school code is 001081. The FAFSA can be completed at any point in your current academic year, but we recommend these deadlines for completing your applications and receiving funds in a timely manner.

MRED scholarship opportunities

Through the generosity of private donors, scholarships are available for the Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) program at W. P. Carey. You will automatically be considered for most of these scholarships when you accept your offer of admission. Some scholarships will require an additional application.

We encourage future students to apply early to be considered for these scholarships. Please note that a completed FAFSA is required for scholarships that are based on financial need. Also, these scholarships will not be awarded prior to the beginning of the program as they are mostly donor designated funds.
