Academics
Program Overview
The Master of Science in Management (MiM) degree at the W. P. Carey School of Business is an accelerated nine-month, 36-credit degree program that will transform your knowledge and skill sets with focused business expertise. A nine-month program that begins in August, the MiM is designed for graduates with non-business degrees and less than two years of work experience.
The MiM will give you a competitive advantage in pursuing your career goals. Three distinct components of the program will prepare you to add immediate value and take a leadership role in all types of environments:
- Seven core business courses give you an analytical portfolio of business skills through integrative cases, project-based learning, and team work.
- Leadership courses provide an understanding of strategic vision, instituting change, information systems and the role and importance of sustainability.
- A capstone consulting project bridges the gap between academic learning and real-world business application. Within this significant project, you will generate and evaluate solutions, provide recommendations, and prepare and present a final report to your client. Tangible deliverables give you a notable advantage with potential employers or additional graduate studies.
