Master of Real Estate Development

Message from the Director

Mark Stapp

Welcome to the Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) program, a graduate level program within the W. P. Carey School of Business, coordinated in partnership with the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts and the Del E. Webb School of Construction. MRED is a transdisiplinary program teaching skills necessary to manage and establish a career in real estate development. Our graduates obtain the business management skills necessary to organize, implement and manage the real estate design and development process. As a result, you will enter the real estate development industry with a keen awareness of design and development needs balanced with a responsible vision for being financially viable, economically desirable, politically acceptable, environmentally respectful, socially responsible and contextually and artfully designed.

The MRED program has received ongoing support from the real estate industry, beginning with its inaugural year advisory board to the current assembly of professionals who give both time and financial support through association with the program. This continued support enables us to better serve our constituents and keep our program relevant to our rapidly changing profession.

Thank you for your interest, and please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
