Evaluation Process
W. P. Carey MSIM students have varying backgrounds and experiences. The Admissions Committee prefers to review the different elements of your application to arrive at a recommendation. The committee considers your resume, work experience, essays, academic transcripts and letters of recommendation.
Applications generally are reviewed by the Admissions Committee within four to six weeks of their completion.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications reviewed by the Admissions Committee may be considered more competitive if they are consistent with the class profile. Among the areas considered:
- Years of professional work experience consistent with class averages
- An undergraduate GPA near the class average
- Previous coursework in IT and/or business-related disciplines
