Admissions

The W. P. Carey MS-BA is designed for students who have recently completed an undergraduate degree. Due to the high level of quantitative skills and abilities that are necessary for success in the program, students who have earned their undergraduate degree in the areas of science, technology, engineering, math and business are excellent fits for the program. Students without quantitative coursework in their transcript will still be eligible; however, please note that special attention will be paid to the quantitative section of your standardized test in order to determine skill level. 

How to Apply

The application for the W. P. Carey MS-BA is now available. When choosing the program you are applying to, please select 'BABUSANMS.' The online application should take about 30 minutes to complete if you gather the below information in advance:

• Resume
• Essays: A template is available.
• 1. Why is now the right time for you to pursue this graduate degree program? Why is the Business Analytics program the right fit for you? (500 words or less)
  2. Identify the skills or transferable skills that will make you competitive as a business analytics professional? (500 words or less)
  3. Please provide any additional information that you would like to bring to the attention of the Admissions Committee. (Optional no length required)
• One letter of recommendation
• Official transcripts from all coursework completed at institutions other than ASU
• GMAT and/or GRE test scores (Note: The Admissions Committee will accept either)

Once you begin the application online, you can stop and return later to complete the required sections prior to submission.

International students who will earn their bachelor’s degree outside of the U.S.: TOEFL scores will likely be required to submit evidence of English proficiency, particularly if English is not your first language. Please review details regarding English language proficiency.
